Our founder, Delshad Saka, is an Iraqi American self-made entrepreneur. Delshad worked his way up from labor work in all three provinces of Erbil, Kirkuk, and Baghdad to starting his home appliance wholesale business in Baghdad in 2003.
After immigrating to the United States through the UN with his wife and two sons in 2009, he worked in different companies such as Hilton Holdings, Circle K, and Canon USA. Prior to Delshad becoming a licensed real estate agent in Arizona in 2016, he saw the need for American-made Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) in Erbil.
Hence, he founded Comfortzone in 2013 to bridge the gap between the demand of the markets in Kurdistan and Iraq and the supply available through American-made goods.
